MLPTP EVENT MLPTP's first ever PONY Easter Bonnet Contest! Voting time!

@strawberrypony32, @Daintress & @AutumnRoan your post count is the same as messages. :p:

Post count is the same as messages. I don't know why it's called messages, it may have happened in an upgrade but the "messages" number under your name is the number of posts you've made and that is your "post count"

Photos need to be in by 11:59 p.m. EST on April 5th so if it's anytime on Tuesday it's okay. Wednesday is when I'll be creating the voting thread.
Thank you!!:ponylove:

I was thinking there would be no time to join with working 60 hour weeks and not having access to any of my craft supplies. However, I've decided to make some time and cut back on my hours this week :)

I picked up a few cheap materials and I'm sure I can put together a few bonnets. It's partly about joining the contest, but mostly I feel inspired to create some spring pony wear for some of my girls. Last night, I selected and released some of my ponies.

Is it wrong that I want to come free them?

Not at all. It's making me nuts. "Homeless" for four months now. I had better find a house soon. At least the ponies are with me (right next to my bed)

The deadline totally snuck up on me. I have not had a chance to do anything for this. But I wish everyone else good luck and I greatly look forward to the pics!

Oops I'm running out of time too!! I even made a special trip to Michael's to get some fresh greenery - and then I had to wonder, is there a problem with buying a bunch of new supplies for a free contest?

I've never gone out and bought supplies for any of my crochet project's!
There's more than enough junk lying around my house, that I can always figure something out lol

When I enter a contest, I usually go for the win. I'm competitive by nature, which is why it's important to note that this is probably the first time that I'm entering a contest for the sheer joy I'm having creating a bonnet. <3<3<3

Is it wrong that I want to quit my job and make bonnets for ponies for the rest of my days?

I wish I had all my good craft supplies, but it's almost more fun not having them and just working with what I've been able to scrounge up last minute.

Sadly, my creative side is often squashed by my body which needs a ridiculous amount of exercise. My physical activities take up so much time I neglect that important part of me that has a wicked imagination and a playful spirit. I like to see this side of myself. Go, go, go, girl can take a backseat for a couple days and let Ms. Daisy take the wheel!

This is a wonderful distraction considering how difficult the next few weeks will be for me. I'm super grateful to have something nice to focus on that isn't just working 60 hour weeks to keep my mind occupied.

Well, my problem with craft stores is, I go in thinking 'I just need some plastic eggs!' And then I find the fabric paint ... and the silk flowers... and the glitter... OH! are those markers?! I need fresh markers! and jewelry bits... and clearance... :lolpony:
