So… I have a stack of ponies that we specifically gathered for customizing, got hair, sealant, etc. Now… a year?… later, we finally made some progress.

I'm glad you kept your stuff!! That blue color is so bright and beautiful! I can't wait to see the progress.

My oh my! I got this Argentina blossom for very little. It’s rather obvious why. Here’s what she started as

This is what she looks like now.

Eyes and symbols pretty good for an Argentina pony.
This was stuffed into her head. You can see the glue line!

Now the sad state of her head and the totality of… I’m guessing some cheap twilight sparkle wig or stuffed toy… that was somehow crammed into the poor pony. Looking closely at her head, it looks like someone purposely sliced the lines of plugs to do this.

Now. Any suggestions on how to handle this? I was thinking of gluing the hair plug lines back together and giving her a new set of lines. She’ll be going in my personal collection, but I would still like to do this right, so I am open to suggestions. I don’t know if craft glue will be strong enough to withstand the pressure needed to punch new holes. Should I use the dreaded superglue?

Maybe you could try filling the area with apoxie sculpt (or some other air drying material) and poke the new holes while it’s still wet?

I've filled holes will air dry clay or mulliput and then punched new holes with a rehairing needle too. Works as long as you're patient and careful

@Tak, Wait, so on Saturday that gorgeous pony had no hair, and by Tuesday it was fully complete?! Are you made of magic?! Lol! I have had the same custom on my dining room end table for nine months and still there is no mane. Please snap your fingers in the direction of my house, so I can maybe find some of that motivation!!

@Lilykin that liquid fusion looks great, but I think I need that rehair tool from the video. I've done all my rehairs with a needle and dental floss.....could be that is not the most effective method ever...
