It's hard not to support the coolest idea ever!

Update time!
After a bit of problem solving, the factory have worked out a way to pre-punch mane rooting holes after moulding! This is great news as it means that not only will the ponies come with faint mane guidelines like the originals, but they will also have needle punched holes ready to root without having to punch your own (though extras can be added by hand with a needle or awl).
I didn't want to include plain white manes and tails on these blanks for a couple of reason:
1. The cost of the hair would put up production costs a lot and make the blanks more expensive
2. It seems wasteful when these are for customising and in 99% of cases the white hair will be removed and thrown away to replace with a colourful mane - not very environmentally friendly to include plastic fibres which will only be discarded into landfill, and no point making the ponies cost more either!
This means now I am able to confirm all the features these ponies will have, and some product renders will be coming very soon!

- Poseable and removable heads with plugs exactly like the originals
- Tail hole
- Pre-punched mane holes
- Sculpted eye hole to prefectly fit eye gems
- Opaque white PVC material which can be dyed using any synthetic dyes such as RIT dyemore
- Printed eyes with light grey irises to easily be coloured over with paint, ink, marker etc
- Rainbow detail on one hoof, with 'Project G2 Redo' logo and 'Grace Ruby' logo on the others to make them distinct and easily identifiable
Yes it is the original rainbow design!Fantastic news!
Is the rainbow looking like the original rainbow?
Agreed, and no shade to HQG1C they're absolutely amazing and pioneers in this field, and their manes do make the products look really pretty, but I figured when most people remove the mane to reroot it's better to save money and the planet! Factory rooting is an option for special future releases though - best of both worlds!OK, I like this. Especially how you aren't pre rooting them. I tend to pull the hair out of HQG1C, and it adds a step!
It's so exciting right! I can't wait to get customisingWow these sound incredible!! I think I will have to pay some one to customize one for me!! I can’t wait! Thank you, @Grace Ruby, for seeing this through!
Genuinely cannot wait to see the result if you choose to do a custom with one of these ponies! Your work is so beautifulYay! Can't wait!!!
I do! It was filament printed so it's PLA plastic which is slightly different from resin, I still haven't gotten round to sanding and painting it yet though hahaDo you still have your giant resin G2? Did I dream it? I think it was rainbow coloured...
I would love them to be accessible to everyone price wise, I can't confirm the exact price each pony will retail for but we are doing all we can to keep the costs down and shipping affordable through distributors! I would also like to purchase some out of our stock for some giveaways and prizesI ended up procrastinating on reading this for some time, because thank you anxiety, but I'm really excited for this, too. If some things on my end work out, and that's a really big "if", then I might, maybe, if I'm really lucky.... I might get the ability to buy some of these ponies, and just as they're released. If that happens... I want to buy five.
Which now that I think about it, my plan was to use them for my characters but five would be the perfect amount to recreate the Friendship Gardens characters. Light Heart in particular got the short end of the stick with official releases - she got a lot of versions of her made, but none of them were normal.
That aside.... I'm honestly so disappointed that I haven't gotten to help with the website even a little bit. I still genuinely want to contribute, at least in some small way.
Thank you so much@Pretty_pop since I've seen you're starting to get into a bit of a G2 kick, I just wanted to let you know about this project!
