⋆˙⟡♡ The MLPTP's 2026 Valentine Card Swap ♡⟡˙⋆

The Valentine's Card Swap is simple: each participant is given a list of other MLPTP members to send Valentine cards to.
In turn, the sender will receive Valentines from all the same partners!
This swap will have three different tiers for you to choose from:
Tier 1: Send cards to 1-4 pony friends based on the number member sign ups.Tier 2: Send cards to 5-10 pony friends based on the numbers of members who sign up.Tier 3: Send cards to 10 or MORE pony friends based on the numbers of members who sign up. (This means there could be 10, 12, or 20 or MORE cards to be sent!)Requirements to Join:
Membership at the MLPTP is all you need! This is a great step toward building your feedback to participate in our bigger events!
MLPTP Card Swap Etiquette to Follow:
♡ You are welcome to include little extras like stickers, recipe cards, or drawings, so long as they fit in a standard envelope. This step is entirely optional and not required or expected. Keep in mind that postage cost will increase with weight.
♡ You may send postcards instead of cards, too!
♡ Remember to include your username in your cards so your partner can tag you in our brag thread.
♡ Make sure your addresses are clear and legible, and the correct amount of postage is paid. We want to avoid returned mail as much as possible!
♡ Please contact @March Meadow or @Lackadaisy if you run into any concerns- we can figure it out together!
♡ The MLPTP Swap rule of thumb is: Send something that you would be thrilled to receive yourself.
Important Steps to Follow:
♡ Before mailing, post a teaser photo of your envelopes right here on the main swap thread. This will count as your proof of mailing. Make sure to cover up or edit out any personal information such as addresses that may be visible in your photo!
♡ Once you receive your card(s), you must post a thank you brag in the Show n Tell thread. Your sender is anxiously waiting to know how much you love your cards, and everyone else would love to see what you received! Multiple cards may be included in one photo, but be sure to include photos of all of your cards! Failure to complete this step will result in a neutral feedback for the swap.
♡ Card Swap Feedback will count as 1 feedback and will be left by the swap host. Individuals will not need to leave feedback for cards received, you can just thank your senders in your brag posts. When participating in any other future swaps, past card swaps will count as 1 per event. This is being instituted because we feel it will ultimately make card swaps simpler and maintain the integrity of our feedback system.
♡ The mods here at the MLPTP are very busy and will quickly be moving along to the next swap, game, contest, or other activity. Please open your cards and complete step #2 above by 2/28/2026. Failure to do so means that the mods may not be able to step in and help with any concerns you may have after that time has passed, and you will be left a neutral feedback for the swap. (Exceptions apply if your cards arrive after this date due to extenuating circumstances).
The Importance of the Deadlines and the Importance of Communication
Everyone who signs up and sends a card should be able to also receive a card in a timely manner. If you are not confident you can have your card mailed by the deadline, please reconsider joining. There will be plenty of other fun festivities to participate in year-round. We understand things arise and some things can't be controlled, that's okay but we also want everyone who participates to enjoy the swap and be assured to have their gifts before the holiday.
If for any reason you run into issues you must communicate with the swap host so we can work it out. Failure to ship by the required deadline or communicate issues in a timely manner may result in a neutral or negative feedback. Our goal is to make sure our swaps are fair and fun for all who participate.
Important Dates:
♡ Sign-ups close on January 15th at 11:59 PM PST
♡ Partner Assignments will be sent on January 17th
♡ Post proof of mailing and send your cards by February 4th
♡ Open your cards and post all brags by February 28th at 11:59 PM PST
♡ Feedback will be left for you by a swap host before March 3rd
