Wow, guess I’ve been missing international news lately (I mean I’ve kinda been avoiding local news too for a bit, it’s way to stressful sometimes). I know cases are up in my state, but they don’t seem to be considering another lockdown here. Not yet anyway

Cases are way up here. That's why we haven't had anything other than online classes. The teachers aren't hopeful that they'll get into the classrooms this school year.

The school in my city opened for like 3 days and then closed down and moved all the classes online too. Something about air quality from being shut up for so long I guess. Hopefully your daughter is liking the online schooling

We have gone into a short second lockdown for 4 weeks (I’m in England) lots of places in Europe have. It is nothing like the initial lockdown as kids are still going to school and most of us are still out working, it’s basically work from home if you can, hospitality is shut and hair salons, leisure centres etc.

they are putting more restrictions where I live on covid. Which isnt suprising to me since we live in a colder area. I hope everyone can stay safe :/ and that we can have a nice time during this swap. I still have places to go to for shopping for now. I also dont like watching the news alot too much stress. :/

@Skycakes yeah, I mean I know it’s good to know what’s going on in the world, but sometimes you just need a break ^^;

I think I’m gonna have to skip the swap this time :cry:
But I’ll be watching everyone’s brags and I can’t wait to see what other Christmas events the awesome mods have planned for us!
 
Yes, there will be some more fun. Everyone just use your best judgement on if you think you should join or not, 2020 is throwing curve balls left and right. No one will think twice if you can't, it's whatever you are comfortable with and yes, more things will be coming to participate in :)

I've done some extras shopping & got 1 pony on the way. I'll be heading to the 'big city' this week so I can hopefully get all my extras/wrapping stuff done.

Hi Tsukikakushi!

I'm a sneaky sneak! I was taking care of my mom the last few years, as she had terminal cancer. She passed last year, which honestly was a blessing as we got to be with her, instead of this year when we may not have been able to be with her. But now I'm trying to get into my collections again. :)

I'm so sorry for what you had to go through. My grandfather suffered for so long before passing. (Over a decade) Sometimes it's better if it's only a few years. I'm glad you were able to be with her and she never had to see this messed up year. Glad that you're back, too.
