G1 2021 Hallmark ornament

Well I returned her, the leg bothers me enough to not pay full price but if they have them after christmas (which mine usually do) I will pick one up at 50% off and not feel as bitter about it LOL I am working on a scathing letter to Hallmark corporate though!
 
I saw so many posts today on FB about damaged Powder legs. It seems to be a really weird flaw to let their brand new ornament have.

I’ll admit you guys got me more with the NBC. I’m a little obsessed (our wedding ceremony is going to be NBC themed and on Halloween).
 
@MaddieHatter I have gotten all of the NBC ones available so far. I wish they would release more character figures than just the main few. I would love to have the vampires as a set and the hanging tree!!

You tell em @Gingerbread! I am afraid I will miss her if I take her back so I will just take @Skybreeze advise and strategically place her in the tree. I did however love the seasons treatings this year and I am excited about some coming out in October.

Well we got married before we intended too because of being over excited. We are waiting for like 2022 to do a ceremony with our friends. I sew but I’m having someone else make my dress since it makes me nervous. I’m doing a retro Rockabilly outfit in a swing dress that is purple with spiders and bats. My wife is doing more of a vest and button down combo but also having a vest with skulls to go with mine. I’ll take lots of photos once we get stuff together as I’m excited and nervous to make it as perfect as I can.

I bet your tree looks amazing! I’m doing one of those tree toppers this years with the hill and the two of them together. I need to go ahead and order our new Christmas tree since I’ve been given the go ahead to have a black Christmas tree.
 
That sounds amazing, I can't wait to see pics. It sounds so fun to do that. Yeah I have a black tree and I love it, I actually keep it up all through Christmas and it makes the Ornaments look amazing. I have some old photos on here somewhere of my tree last Halloween. I'm sure your ceremony will perfect!!
 
The Seasons Treatings is cute this year and I always get the Cookie Cutter Christmas one, I got more to pick up in October too! Sometimes I do feel like their quality is going down for the prices they charge. The HP Sorting Hat I bought was making a mechanical tapping noise when it played so I went to return it today, the display did NOT make the noise. I brought batteries and a screw driver to check the one I exchanged it with before I left the store. I went through SIX of them and they all made the noise before I finally asked the manager if I could have the display one since it seemed to be the only perfectly working one in the store (I swear, that makes me sound like a "Karen" but I'm not, if I don't have something nice to say I can at least make it funny). They did let me take that one but I wanted 2 cause I was going to give one as a gift. I'm gonna check out another store and see if I can find a non-clicking one, for 40.00 c'mon.

Your wedding sounds amazing @MaddieHatter you must share pics!!!!! But don't stress yourself too much, no wedding is perfect, something will always go wrong but at the end of the day it's just a celebration of your union and as long as you are there and your spouse is there with people that love you the rest is just extra. We found out the day before that the venue didn't supply tablecloths so my dad had to run out to Party City and find the "nicest" looking tablecloths they had AND I didn't bother trying on my dress with the underwear I brought and you could totally see it through my dress!!! (they were my something blue) so I tucked them into my bra and went commando :lolpony: so, see, something always goes wrong but those are the things you remember and laugh about later.

Thank you both, and I guess it’s just the OCD perfectionist coming out that makes me want to have this perfect set up. I know in theory that isn’t a possibility though, so I’ll try to be easier with myself about it. I still at least want to make it look as nice as possible. Also, Gingerbread that is very funny. I think I would trip and end up flashing my wedding party.

I think I’ll go hunt down these pictures of your tree as it would be good inspiration. I want a black one for the living room and then I think a smaller pink one for my craft room would be cute. We just moved in together in January and our other Christmas tree was the heaviest thing I’ve ever pulled around.

I haven’t done any ornament shopping yet but now this thread makes want to check them out. We lost our Hallmarks before Covid so shopping for the ornaments isn’t as fun as it used to be.

Ooh a halloween wedding sounds very cool! What’s NBC though?
