A big box of ponys!

What a great load o' ponies! I love the big ol' lots, they're always such fun to dig through!

Once I bought one of those huge 20+ pound lots off shopgoodwill and it was a blast pawing through them all. My mom was bedbound at the time, so I hauled it down to her house and sat with her on the bed looking at them all. She loved ponies as well, so of course she ended up with half of them. I could never say no to mom!

Woah 20 pounds!? That’s huge! And yes it was a lot of fun, it’s the biggest bunch of ponys I’ve ever gotten

Goodwill does big ol' lots sometimes. They were mainly G3s with a sprinkling of G4. Best lot I ever bought! And mom just had tons of fun digging through and picking her favorites!

That’s so cool! I’ve seen big bags of barbies at goodwill but not ponys so far

It took me a little longer than I thought to post pics cause I may have gotten way too into the cleaning zone and decided my entire herd needed to be cleaned too (some of my oldest girls from 2003 and 2004 had actually never had a bath lol) So now that I’m finished here are some pics of the G1 ponys after a quick bath with just soap and water and then pics of them when I worked on them a little more. You did a great job on the clean up!! Isn't it such great therapy getting them clean and healthy again! I actually like finding the dirty ones so I can rescue them . I just found this lot that needed rescue.

Those little ones go to a MLP storybook and they came with a map of ponyville for children to play with. I found it a year back and my daughter plays with it all the time. They are super rare. I've only seen the one I have and the handful of pieces you have now. I think there were 12 ponies originally? I'd have to look at the box that they came with but I think there were twelve. I think. Don't quote me on that tho. I could be wrong, maybe it was 8?

Yup it took me a while to find them, I found one picture of them online with that book lol. Pretty cool! The rainbow dash one is separate I think though cause she has a string like she’s an ornament
