A little thing that made you happy

Hello everyone! Sorry I’ve been a bit quieter than usual lately, I’m away at college rn so I’m super busy and not with my ponies who live at my parents house. However, I never stop thinking about my little pony and wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. Please use this thread to post anything in your life (pony related or not) that made you happy lately. I’ll go first!

I was in a back corner of an upper floor in the library having a bit of a rough moment after a test (I cry easily) and a person I had never met before came up and asked if I was alright. I said I was and he left. A few minutes later he came back and gave me a warm cinnamon roll from the cafe and a sweet note saying everything will be alright. I didn’t catch his name and haven’t seen him since but it really restored my faith in humanity.

I wish every person could be as kind as that stranger. That's so moving
I hope you're feeling much better by now! The boards have been a bit quiet, probably everyone is busy with one thing or another so it sure is nice to have you stop in and say what you've been up to.

I'm doing well, just trying to keep on top of health and all the adult things I need to do. Recently a sewing store not too far from us had a cute sale where they gave out chocolate bars with prize tickets wrapped around them a la Willy Wonka, and when I invited my spousey to drive out there with me he actually wanted to go! I stopped inviting him a long time ago because he used to be so bored in craft stores. So that in itself made me happy! I hoped to win a free sewing machine or service/repair, but we got a $5 off coupon and a free twin pack of sewing machine needles which was nice, and then my partner was happily wandering the store looking for something to buy(!!) and then we went to breakfast after. Just having him enjoy doing something like that with me was so nice, it's still making me smile.

I've also been getting amped for a sculptural custom pony I'm going to be making for an awesome person and that's giving me a lot to look forward to.

Kind strangers are surely one of the best things that can happen when you're having a bad day! People have no idea how much being kind to others helps out

I'm honestly SO stressed out because I'm going to graduate this year and I only have less than a week left to finish my graduation art piece. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE art school but we only got two weeks to finish a huge 70x50 cm painting that I need to graduate..
So, in these stressful times I'm very glad that I am spending every day with my bestest friends in the world, who make every school day that less stressful! I haven't had many true friends as a child, so I am very happy that now I am surrounded by people who love me and who make me laugh every day, no matter how hard life gets. A bit sad that we'll no longer be together every day once school finishes, but that hopefully means more free time we can spend together instead of worrying about school work.
Aside from my friends, I have planned a few art projects that I cannot wait to work on and of course, pony mail I look forward to!

My friendship with @Tak is one of my greatest treasures in life, she truly gets me and I feel I could tell her anything. She's so precious to me!

Another thing that gives me joy is making my little sister mlpc happy!
I love to spoil her with gifts and always try to listen to, and care about the things she says, because one of the things she loves the most is to feel heard!

I love it when I watch movies or TV with my family! it feels wonderful to share the experience of media with the people you care about!

My dogs Misty and Ellie give me great joy without them i'd be a much sadder person for sure!

My Minty collection makes me sooooo happy!
I just want to surround myself with anything Mint, or cinnamoroll themed!

And of course my many hobbies!
I love to create, and learn new things!
My hobbies come with the additional bonus of being able to gift my labor of crafty love in physical form!

And I love the post my home sweet home where I can truly connect with all of you and not have to worry about masking my disorders!
Thank you every pony for accepting me into your herd!

I have been so crabby this week, and feeling pretty down about humanity and the unfairness of things...

But yesterday, my bestie just told me she felt no pain all day She has been fighting cluster headaches and has had arthritis since her twenties. She was so happy! She said she had so much energy and got so much done! It's been decades since she has felt so good. She has been through a lot in life and it felt amazing to know she finally won one!

My hubby went to finish up his tattoo last night and came back with a small Firefly incorporated into it. He said it was for me. How sweet was that?? I will try to get him to let me take a photo once it's healed up. It made me happy.
