Yeah, Dollarama is a big chain of Canadian dollar stores. It's almost at the point where the word has replaced "dollar store" in normal speech, like Kleenex replaced tissue. They have lots of purchasing power, and some brands package specifically for them. Prices go up to $4 CAD, which is about $2.50 USD, and range from kitchen stuff to staple groceries, to craft supplies, to gardening gear, etc. They have a bulk purchase and delivery program for businesses, and a lot of deps/corner stores buy from that. They also have a few "store brand" labels, which are just repackages of other brands.
I've actually seen a lot of MLP blind bags end up in Dollaramas, there's practically one on every block here in Montreal (only mild exaggeration). I can hit at least 12 on the path home from my doctor's office, and while they don't last long in the high-traffic locations, the ones that are a little more out of the way can have interesting stuff linger for months.
Oh, here's a metric to get the feel across: any given Montrealler is about 20 times more likely to have bought something at a Dollarama in the past week than to have set foot in a WalMart or a Target. That's the market saturation.
