So because of 2020 I've had to come up with some new ideas for Halloween festivities. I typically throw a pumpkin carving party but for several reasons I've decided that is not practical this year. I've got to throw it earlier then usual so I don't think the pumpkins would hold up through Halloween. Then I had the idea, witch hat decorating! Just buy a bunch of plain witch hats and all sorts of ribbons and embellishments and we'll decorate witch hats. It's perfect BUT the party is going to be outside this year to try to help reduce exposure and I worry it might be too cold for the glue guns to work. I don't know if any of you have tried to use a glue gun outside or maybe it's just cause I have a cheap one but if it's under 70 degrees my glue gun doesn't work very well. I think it's just too cold for the glue to really get melty like it does indoors. Plus if we did that there would be a dozen extension cords running all over the place for everyone to have one. I feel like bottled glue would be easier all around. Is there a fairly quick drying glue any of you crafters can recommend that would be good for fabric/plastic type stuff????
