I just looked them up and they are so cute ^_^ I’m really glad they based it on mr mint’s adorable original design, not the weird newer one (new one is on the right)

I only have Fizzy and I need to change that! For some reason (my favorite Twinkle-Eye) Locket's price on eBay has just...completely shot up lately. She went from $25 to over $100 overnight. Gotta wait until she goes down again or I see someone on MLPTP or MLPMerch selling for a decent price.

Mimic is considered to be the rarest G1 that isn't a mail-order pony, right?

No. Mimic is not any more rare than the other second wave of Twinkle Eye ponies. She is just more sought after for her unique colouration and symbol. That raises her price to be more. She should NOT be what people are paying currently due to Covid. She’s a pony that has always hovered around $70-100 depending on condition. Covid and new people needing everything right away have made the pony market go crazy, but it will settle out again. I’ve already started to see a lot of price starting to get back to normal on some things. *hooves crossed*

I see, I see. Don’t blindly trust Google search results, basically. Always need to know the difference between sought out vs rare. Thank you for the correction.

It's a good thing I am taking a break from pony buying right now. I rekindled my pony love at almost this exact time last year! I like many pulled my childhood collection from storage and fell head over heals back in love and started growing my collection. It gradually got to the point where I knew I had to stop and give it time to go back down. I hope @Skybreeze is right!
 
I have Fizzy and Masquerade from childhood! I have accrued a few more from random lots but I was super excited to get Locket from @Tak from the Christmas swap. She is one of my favorites. I have a suspension that I will never complete the series with Mimic :mimic:

After being used to playing the original version, the new version looks tacky. (Personal opinion only) E agreed with me.
