Here's an update on my derusting process of baby beddy bye eyes gusty!
After soaking in white vinegar for 2 days she still wasn't any less rusted. I had to resort to removing her eyes and taking them completly apart since the rust was so bad inside every little corner on both eyes. I soaked them in cleaning strength vinegar instead and that only took a few minutes to clear. The one issue is one of her eyes is broken. It was rattling around in her head. The super tiny plastic pegs that makes the open and close mechanic work were broken. I ended up glueing her eye into the socket after many failed attempts for replacing the tiny pegs. Her right eye doesn't close because of this but her left eye is back in working order!
Now I've just gotta get her a new rail and clean her face paint up a bit. Her eyelashes also got bleached with the vinegar so I've gotta get her a new pair of those!
