these look so cute but I'm scared these won't actually release ]: hasnt basic fun confirmed alot of ponies that they never ended up making??
 
I don't think they've officially confirmed ones they didn't make? I could be wrong, but I think most of the ones that didn't get made were shown off at shows but not officially confirmed or what have you.
 
My niece works at Target. I told her to keep an eye out for them for me
 
People who free their BF ponies from the box, how common is it to come across hard, gluey hair ponies?

Last Christmas my Surprise had some hard hair, fixed easily with warm water
This year, Gusty has white a lot. Still need to fix. Apart from Upside Down AJ (who I think had a tiny bit a year before Surprise), these are all the BF ponies I have so far

I definitely, definitely ended up with some "hard, gluey" hair when I opened up my twinkle eyes Sweet Stuff and Gingerbread. I believe both of them had it - I'm pretty sure it's the hair itself, perhaps they boxed these ponies while they were still cooling and put them away a little too early.

Either way, I gave both of mine a good careful brushing and it's fine. They're still a little crunchy-feeling on the tips, but it mostly takes care of it. I was thinking I might try giving them a wash and condition to see if it helps any further but I haven't done it yet.

I didn't have that issue with the first rainbow ponies collection though, as far as I recall.

omg, yes @__@ all my basic fun ponies had crunchy ends on their hair. i think they put some type of styling gel or something on the ends? anyway brushing helps some, but i think washing them would help completely!! i recently got a basic fun fizzy n her hair is horrible. it got tangled in that stupid tab they lock their hair in and her ends feel like theyve been dunked in super glue so im washing n styling her later -__- lol

While Surprise only needed warm water to fix it, Gusty needed warm water and conditioner. The hair is a lot better after but honestly, it’s probably going to get all ripped out if a kid got their first Basic Fun pony and they tried to brush it out. I wonder if it could put a kid off them

The tabs are way more annoying than I remember from my G3s as a kid

This happened to me this morning! And I don't like how the bow is on elastic.
