I'm not home for a bit to post pics but I wanted to check here about etiquette or methods when it comes to trying to ID alot of ponies at once ? I bought a lot of about a hundred ponies sometime last year - bought mainly for the 20 or so G1s in the box, intending to sell on most of the G3s, as I don't collect them outside of personal faves. BUT I haven't properly gone through the box yet outside of checking for especially dirty/busted ponies because of how long it's likely to take identifying them all, as I'm not that into G3 and can only identify a few by name :S so was wondering if it's appropriate to post pics for such a huge amount of ponies in here ? Or if it's more for single/small groups of ponies ?

If I shouldn't be posting huge lots here I'm open to any advice on identifying so many ponies - & if the best method really is to just go through one by one let me know and I suppose I'll just have to suck it up and get started lol

Sorry if this is a silly question ! I just don't want to annoy anyone with a huge pile of unidentified horses if I'm not supposed to :S

You can look on strawberry reef like the above comment says, ultimately you can post pics here and I can help you as well. I collect g3, if you can send me pics maybe I’d buy a few depending on which ones you have :)

AAA Thank you !!! That Strawberryreef site looks super helpful !! I'll be back home in September, specifically after Sept 13th so I'll go thru the box then ! If there's any I can't identify with that site I'll pm either of you :) & will absolutely send you both pics of the lot to see if there's any you'd want to buy ! I don't know if there's anything particularly rare in there but will still for sure send in case there's any that either of you want

Thanks again for the help !

We have quite a large section in the FAQ just for identifying ponies :)

Ah yeah I had a look there ! It was pretty helpful for figuring out where to post for this - I mostly just wanted to make sure it would be okay to post up a huge bulk lot of ponies here for identifying cause I wasn't sure if that was seen as spam or anything like that :S
