Boyfriend birthday pony

My boy is a bass player and lead vocalist in a metal band. I made him this and gave it to him at his birthday party to see if all his band mates would laugh at him. The reaction was all ooos and awes instead :?

The sweet september birthday pony was ironicly his favorite colors so all I had to do was change the symbol to the bass he was drooling over last year, find some fur for a gotee (from a mc donalds furby) and fro up his hair. Pony hair curls so well!

Great job- that is one hot little custom! I love the way the bass turned out with the jewel- and I love the curly hair!

I know my what boyfriends reaction would be :roll: You just don't give ponies to a 19 year old boy =P
 
Thats too cool. You gotta love it when your man loves ponies :D

My husband like ponies almost as much as I do. He watches the ponie movies and episodes with me. 8)

That is really cute! You did a good job! I gave my boyfriend a pony for his bday with a note that said "if you don't like it, I know someone who will" lol! I knew he wouldn't want it so I got him a real gift too.
 
Gorgeous pony, what bass is it, i can't tell from the pictures, i play bass too :) Although i'm not up to band standard yet hehe!

It's a schecter bass that he was drooling over last year. He really wants a five string spector now, but I didn't know that until later. :oops:
 
That is so cute! You did a good job on that. Hubby wanted me to make him a Yankees pony for him a while now, but I havn't gotten to it..

By the way, I see that you are in NYC! There are a bunch of us around, and I am planning a meet fairly soon---let me know if you are interested :D

those ponies look so cute together. Love how you used the jewel in the symbol. so far i have had the most trouble with the jeweled bait i have.i may just gouge it out lol!
its nice to see the jewel incorporated so nicely in the symbol.

Hehe, that top B string makes all the difference (for some weird reason i started on a 5 :))
 
Wow, you did a phenominal job on the symbols for both of your customs! :) I love the poses you picked. Its almost as if Caramel Coffee is snuggling under the boyfriend pony happily and the BFPony is all "YEA!!!!!!!" And then you two are sort of like that in the photo!
