Brilliant Blossoms is my first 80’s pony, and she arrived yesterday from KestrelDesignGiftsUk on etsy! She was already in great condition, but I wanted to try and style her mane and tail myself :happyhearts:

So, after a quick wash, the raspberry scented conditioner went in!

I had picked up some small hair curlers, but they were just a bit too large for BB's mane! I hunted around for something else to use, and came across my old, plastic chopsticks :rofl: decided to give them a try!

I was a little worried about the results, but I removed her makeshift curlers the next day and was pleasantly surprised!

Considering this was my first attempt at styling a pony, I think her curls turned out pretty great! :yellowheart: she's so pretty q-q
Going to grab some straws for next time though!

It was a struggle trying to keep her hair wrapped around the chopsticks when I went to add the clips, so I'm hoping that straws will be a little easier :rofl:

Pieces of paper towel helps quite a bit to keep things smoothed down and in place. Something to try next time. :)
 
That bow is so cute! Nice job :)
