Every year I host a pumpkin carving party :Glowpump: I make a bunch of appetizers, we spread plastic tablecloths down on the floor and we carve pumpkins and watch Halloween specials. Well this year I had to mix it up a bit, I wanted everyone to still have fun but also be smart about it. So I moved it outside. I decorated my screened porch and had food set out in there and then each guest had their own "spot" in the yard. I staked down tablecloths, and marked each spot with a tombstone with each guests name painted on it. We ate, carved our pumpkins and then when it started to get dark we had a fire and s'mores and I have a projector and speakers so we watched The Great Pumpkin and Garfield Halloween off the side of the garage. It was a fun party, we may even continue to do it outside if the weather permits in the future and now that the friends know I have a projector they all have suggested movie nights for me to host... I may have really started something LOL
AND to make it even better! One of my friends just got a Frenchie puppy. She was supposed to come to my party but got called into work. She asked if I could puppysit for the day and I was like, OF COURSE! Sorry, not sorry you can't make it LOL So I had an adorable puppy for the day and of course everyone at the party loved on him, and since we were having a party of course we had to run out so his Aunt Gingerbread could buy him a Halloween shirt! Having him in the house reminded me how nice it was to have a doggo around, might be helping me baby step towards getting another pup at some point but until then I'm happy to pupsit and then give him back to his mom LOL
Can you guys guess which pumpkin was mine?!?!? LOL
