G4 Chinese G4 Projection Show

I must be a few weeks late finding this out but apparently G4 are continuing in China as a 3DCGI projection show based on historical Chinese lore. I saw a video suggestion come up on YouTube and then I gave it a quick Google just to be sure and I found an article on Equestria Daily about it.

Is that a Kirin prince?
I like the design as well. I'm generally not a fan of chinese history, and it sounds like this is a live production, but if there is a way to watch it with subtitles later I might give it a shot and see if I learn anything.

As for if I'd heard of it, no, this is the first.

It does sound like a live production at a certain place doesn’t it?

And as for it being a kirin, I found a discussion on this at the MLP Forums and someone pointed out:
Kirins originated as qilin (pronounced as “chee-leen”) in China. Many East Asian cultures have their pronunciation and interpretation of the creatures. I understand the Chinese usually depicts them with two antlers as shown with that pony

Yee, this I've known about. I originally learned about kirin- well, technically from PonyIsland where they were one of my favourite breeds, but I actually properly learned about them when I started diving into unicorn's original mythology. They were mentioned as the Chinese adaptation of a unicorn. How true that is I'm not really sure, but I found it pretty interesting.
 
This is super cute, it's nice we're in a time with different gens all being officially recognised and kept alive alongside one another! I love that we're getting official G1 repros and the all new celestials and plushies and merch and new G4 content and G5 stuff ....... now if they start making more G2 and 3 merch too finally we will have world peace
