Custom MLP - Star Throb

I have been working on this bad boy for a hot minute. I flocked him (and my lungs and nose)- then when I got him wet to fix something I noticed I had used VERY water soluble glue. So I had to peel him.

His eyes and jewel are lab grown opals I got on sale and his cutie mark is water slide paper I made the design on.

I am in love with him honestly. Even if I did have to peel him.

Things he was supposed to have:
-flocking
-hair on his feet (even poked the holes)
-hair under his chin

But I ran out of hair and I thought he was too pretty to potentially ruin with experimental procedures.

I had considered trying waterslide paper on customs before but I just haven’t tried it yet. It seems pretty easy to use but I’m just wondering if the print stays on pretty well? It looks like it, I just don’t know if I was to accidentally wet the pony or anything if it would ruin?

Oh wow! He is stunning. I am not familiar with waterslide paper, I will have to look that up. But the symbol looks great and from the factory. I love the eyes, they are mesmerizing. Great work.

The water slide paper is very durable! IF you don’t use hot water. While styling his hair I poured hot water over his tail and it ruined it, wasn’t too upset cause I found my matte sealer by then and needed to redo it.
Acetone doesn’t even take it off, it’s scratch resistant, easy to position, it’s great. Just don’t put hot water on it!

Beautiful! Also, since he is not flocked, I believe that HQG1C model glows in the dark! The way you designed it (pastel hair, star shaped symbol, spiral on the horn) glow seems like the theme. He rejected the flocking like "no, mom, I'm supposed to glow!" the glow would show the symbol as a star shape, and maybe even a spiraled horn!

He looks amazing! I love the colours you used for him! The opal eyes are really cool, and the water-slide paper looks like a great way to get really neat + clean looking symbols!

Your lamp + figures are also very cute. XD

This looks amazing!! Love what you have done but would love to see what you wanted as well! maybe try that stuff on a bait pony? There are tons going cheap on etsy and ebay. So cute!!!
