Hey all! Got a question regarding beddy-bye eyes for G1s. Is it possible to remove the beddy-bye eyes, and if so, how is it done? I recall seeing some tutorial SOMEWHERE about replacing them with putty (or something) + painting a new eye over it, but I can't find it any more/I have no idea where that was.
Looking inside the head it appears that the eye mechanism is enclosed in a little "bubble" of plastic; it's a pocket the eye mechanism sits in. I had thought there might be something I could remove, then poke the eye through the head, but... nope. So I'm wondering how they got the eye in there in the first place, and how to get it out.
Would it be simply a matter of heating the head up with hot water until it's soft enough to wedge out, or something?
...I was planning on turning her into a twinkle-eye custom, so... my original idea of just putting the gem in behind the eye socket is going to have to be... re-evaluated. c_c;
