Bahaha!!! Dog hairs is just a sign of living a loved life.

Also, the healing looks pretty good from your picture considering it’s only been a few weeks since your procedure!

Thanks. :) it's doing quite well. It won't even be a bad scar. It's starting to itch which definitely says it's healing.

What would we be without our critters' hair holding us together? It's the Thread of Life!

I'm so glad you're healing up so well. Soon... so much more mobility!

Ok, so this was a little worrisome. I had the most irritating little piece of what I thought was skin hanging off my neck... I tried to gently pull it off. It wasn't skin. It kept on coming. It wasn't glue. Apparently, those dissolving stitches that no doctor believes me when I say that they won't dissolve in me, (or my daughter) are inside of the glued area. I got scissors and carefully trimmed it. Why don't the doctor's and dentists in this world believe me?! Also, really hoping I didn't pull loose anything important.

Tak, please don't come unraveled! I've had some dissolving stitches that didn't fully dissolve either, one on a biopsy that I swear still has a little bit in it in the scar and some that just got "pushed out" as I healed, so I believe you!!

Ok, me being me, I fell today. Luckily it was on my well padded tush and on carpet. I also managed to grab the towel hanging on the door handle so I didn't fall backwards. It could have been so much worse.

As a kid who grew up in a single parent household, know that my mom did everything she could do wasn’t exactly easy. But, looking back, i am so greatful for the thing she did for me.

I think the best thing is to do is continue to support and reassure her. Puberty is tough on everyone, and knowing that your “different” from your peers is harder but just keep reminding her how special and loved she really is.

She is a super talented young lady and she’s got her pony pals here to back her up and kick butt and take names if need be.

Thanks @Skybreeze :xmashug:

Good luck on healing and recuperating and whatnot!

I hope you get your feeling back soon. I've got a scar on my finger that I still don't have feeling on, and it's been over two years since it happened. I didn't go to the doctor afterward, though, because I am too pig-headed and stubborn.

I have one on my arm like that. I should have gotten stitches. No feeling at all where the scar is.

It's almost 3" long and 3/4" wide

I accidentally got myself on the forearm while at work.

It is from about 2 centimeters from my bellybutton all the way horizontal to my side!!!

My best scar is the one I have from hip to hip when I had a partial hysterectomy a few years ago. But I also have one on my big toe from surgery when I broke it by stubbing it on a coffee table... then I have a plethora of various animal scratch (and one bite) from working with animals for 15 years.
