Hi all! :smile:

We sent out a forum-wide email yesterday announcing the Halloween Swap. If you received this email, great!

If you did NOT receive an email from us in the past 24 hours:

1) Check your email's Junk/Spam folder, and if found, be sure to mark our emails as NOT spam.​
2) Add Admin@MLPTP.net to your contacts list in your personal email program.​
3) Check your registered email address here on the forum and make sure it is up to date.​

Having an updated email address is extremely important to be able to retrieve lost passwords, secure your account, and to receive the occasional update about MLPTP events, games, and contests.

I use gmail and this email was in my spam. (Even tho I switched it from hotmail b/c it always marked everything from here as spam no matter what I did.) I've been getting notifications when I get pms tho? Are they separate addresses?

Double check your settings here, but if it’s going to your spam it’s likely something you have set on you gmail account. Double check both.

That depends on what you use for your email server (Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc).


I use gmail and this email was in my spam. (Even tho I switched it from hotmail b/c it always marked everything from here as spam no matter what I did.) I've been getting notifications when I get pms tho? Are they separate addresses?
Yes, they are two totally different parts of the forum software that send notifications/PM's versus the site-wide emails. Our site-wide emails are sent to a staggering number of accounts (thousands), so it has to be done in a particular way that tends to filter through differently due to the sheer volume. It's something I'm hoping the developers will continue to improve upon. ;)
