G1 different pony eye colors?

so i got both of these love melodys online and i noticed they have different eye colors? they dont look painted or anything, but one is like a magenta-ish color and the other is a dark purple? does anyone know why?

the hooves are both the same, 87 hasbro inc, pat. pend, made in hong kong, and besides the eyes i think theyre the same, but the darker eyed one has really bad eye printing. like her eyelashes are very thick, so maybe its just weird printing?

The wiki doesn't say anything about this, but I did check ebay and there are a couple Love Melody's with deeper purple eyes! Notably, those listings are from the UK, so maybe it's a regional thing? My theory is a factory in the UK got the eye color incorrect, which I think is very endearing and neat.

I'm in the UK and my girl has the magenta eyes. Sometimes our ponies also have dark grayish eyelash paint instead of full black. It's possible!

are all ponies supposed to have black lashes?? i noticed all my princess ponies have gray-ish almost black lashes, and some random ponies of mine have gray or brown! i wonder why they used the colors they did o__o maybe they just thought some ponies looked better with certain colors

I think so! Maybe they were just trying to mix it up a bit XD
