It's not a pony, I know, but these are essentially MLP in bird form, right? :p I could only find one YouTube video showing how to disassemble this particular toy. In the video, the hair is pulled out with a pair of tweezers through the tail opening but it seemed to me you could just pop the feet out, and remove the hair from there more easily (and more importantly, have better access to the inside of the body). And indeed you can... Now I hope I can push them back in properly once I'm done with her much needed bath

Sorry, no, not yet. I still needed some supplies to clean her more thoroughly. But I did make some progress with a 1st cleaning. Hair is looking nice and shiny now :orangeheart:. I didn't think conditioner would work, I tried liquid soap first but regular hair conditioner actually works really well! I'll be posting the finished results soon ;).

She’s looking beautiful

So glad to find someone who has experience with this! I just got a fairy tail who unfortunately got her feet smushed into her body during mailing. In trying to straighten her out the feet came out. I can't get them to pop back in but the opening is misshapen, more oval. Will dipping the lower part of her body into boiling water reshape it do you know? Should the feet just pop back in? Thank you so much for any input!
