Disintegrating hair in G3 ponies

Im new to collecting and ive decided to collect G3's as i grew up with them but one of them is having their hair disintegrate and fall off. I know that this is a common problem with this pony (Tea Lily) so I was thinking about rehairing her. Is it possible or should I try to find a different solution/coverup?
