Do you have any OTHER 80's obsessions?

My teen is obsessed with G1 ponies. Recently, they've become obsessed with watching old Jem and the Holograms cartoons. The Jem comics occasionally reference MLP, which made me wonder: Is there anyone else out there who has multiple 80's-era obsessions? What's the most common non-pony 80's obsession among MLP collectors?

I would say the most commonly shared collections among us are Jem, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, and Strawberry Shortcake. She-ra and Barbie too, but maybe not as common.

Born in '85, so I got the best of both the '80s and the '90s. Personally, I don't really collect anything else but Care Bears and Barbie from that period, but I definitely love the Jem series and obsessively watched Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer. In the '90s, it was still Barbie along with Littlest Pet Shop and Puppy in My Pocket.

I enjoy carebears, Nosy Bears, Popples, but I don't actively collect them. I just have one of each out on display, the rest are in storage.

I liked watching Jem, but never liked her enough to collect. Same with Barbies, i was never a barbie person. I liked my animals lol

For me, I also really love almost every version of Transformers including the 80's original. I also like some versions of Ninja Turtles including the original 80's version, but lately I've becomed obsessed with the most recent reincarnation. It's really amazing!

NES, Transformers, Care Bears, and Sanrio for me.

Transformers is the other big, main 80s obsession for me! :lolpony: I also really love Ducktales (both the original 80s and the reboot!).

I also have a small collection of Care Bears and Glo-Friends. :3 I've enjoyed a few other scattered 80s toys/series (like Ghostbusters + Back to the Future), but most are really not big enough for me to comment on. eg: I enjoyed the IDW Jem comics, but don't really collect anything else about them.
