Do You Style Your Ponies?

I was brushing my G4 Pinkie trying to keep her hair looking tidy while also wondering what to do with it and I suddenly wondered how many people actually style their ponies.
I tried to look for some ideas for some I may be able to try with Pinkie since her hair causes me a few problems but nothing I’d easily be able to do. I have a little idea though anyway
Personally, I try to keep the hair going how it’s ‘naturally’ going anyway as long as it’s neat but pretty much all my ponies have is a normal flat brush out. If they have a nice curl I’d try to keep that though

Do you style your ponies?
Do you have a style you tend to lean more to?

My G4’s seem to be the most stylised ponies but a few of my childhood G3’s have their own too. It kind of gives them personality. Goodie Goodie’s hairstyle is the most common in the collection though

Even when I was little I always liked giving Twilight her hair style…after I saw someone on YouTube (someone who filmed their toys to make stories) able to make her hairstyle without cutting her hair I did the same. But everyone else just had the regular flat hair. Until now, that is. For various reasons I’m in the middle of a styling session for all of my G4’s. Every single one…if it’s a show character or recurring background pony I wanna give them a style that resembles their show style, if not then I can do whatever I want and be wild. I like to look up how other people style their G4s for inspiration. I don’t wanna be completely unoriginal, but hey, others had good ideas, better than mine.
So far I have DJ Pon-3, Octavia, and Mrs. Cake done. A bit of a random selection I know. Didn’t want to start with the Mane 6, Pinkie Pie is gonna be a pain and I’m definitely following styling tutorials for her.
Right now (well, as soon as I get back from my trip) I’m giving pearly Applejack her Crystal Pony hairstyle, I even bought little leaves and ribbons to complete the look. Wish me luck, it’ll probably be harder than it looks to get her right…

I like to keep original curls as much as possible, especially in the g1. Otherwise, I have some that I style and some that I just like to keep heat or as close to the way it looked in the package. The power ponies must keep their hair!

I've only ever preserved the curls on my G1 Little Giggles, because she still had them. All my other G1s don't have factory curl anymore, which suits me fine because I like to wash the hair and body of the ponies I get, and then style their hair (usually by curling, if it suits the pony). I love finding cute barrettes and matching ribbons and stuff if the pony's hair is naturally flat/curl-resistant, I still like to put in barrettes or ribbons sometimes.

Ooh, your G4’s look really pretty!
I like washing my ponies when I get them too or if some of mine need it whatever reason so I don’t get too worried about their style either unless they have one already. My Trixie was found with that curl but her hair wasn’t dirty but as she was found in the wild, I had to be extra careful cleaning her around her hair. Luckily, it’s a strong curl so it has been brushed a few times and bounced back

I don't style all my ponies' hair, usually sticking to simple wrap hair around neck + leg' or put them in a simple curler roll... but occasionally I'll do something more fancy with a pony's hair, eg: using straws for tighter curls - mostly with multi-coloured manes, separating them out by colour.

Y'all are making me feel guilty! My poor ponies are lucky if i even brush their hair.
