G3 does anyone have/know about these things?

so, a long time ago, my dad used to take me golfing, except 5-6 yr olds don't really care about golf so he would buy me candy and then i would just kind of sit in the cart and play with toys. one of the things i remember was this little MLP thing that held a little lolipop and spun it around. i found something similar although i could have sworn the pony was standing, not sitting, and the lolipop came out of its back... am i misremembering or something? i also thought it had molded hair. i totally could be misremembering, or maybe it was some kind of fakie? seems like a really specific thing to fake, though...
also, if anyone knows how long they were produced, it would be much appreciated. timeline checks out, it would have been G3, but all the etsy listings i found say 2008, and i would have been like. two or three. so they must have been made for a while.

if you have one of these things i'm just dying to see it. they're so weird!! mechanical spinning lolipop pony?? please show me!!

I do remember those, I thought they were kinda weird too LOL I only recall sitting style ones but that's not to say there was not a standing one? I don't collect G3 so I don't know too much about them but I'm sure someone will!

it's just such an odd concept... like a plastic holder/spinner for your dum-dums?? and it's mlp? lol. it'd make a pretty interesting and odd piece for a collection, imo.

I had a transformer one a bit like this, except when you push the button instead of spinning the lollipop he punched like one of those old rock em sock em robot games. My brother had one too and we made them fight lol. So maybe hasbro thought it would be fun to make candy holders with some of their characters one year?

I have never seen any aside the sitting ones, maybe it was an off brand?
