I've had this cute little fakie since I was a kid and I've always kinda loved it. I don't even slightly remember where it came from, though. Does anyone know what this is? (Edit: ID'd!)

And while I'm at it, there are a couple more for IDing, too. This ones another fakie, I don't care about it too much but it might help others if we knew what it was. I'd asked around before but I don't think it was ever correctly identified. It has those inset eyes, so it looks like it's always looking at you no matter where you turn it.

(Edit: It looks like this one's probably a Simba, actually, I definitely want verification on that though. I can't find the specific line this one would have come form - none of the Simbas I see have these eyes or symbols like this one. This one doesn't take batteries, either.)

And then, separately, these guys aren't fakies but they are ponies and I'm here so I thought I'd throw them in too. I do love these little ponies and also have no idea how I got them. If there are any more of these that I don't have I'd like to consider collecting them, so does anyone know what these are?

Can confirm the first one is definitely a Chap Mei. The second is probably a Buddy L Simba fakie. No idea about the little ones.
.......Yup, the Chap Mei babies are cute.

Ahh, that site you linked to does have these little ones listed though.

It's listed as "rubber unicorn".... I used that and the 3" mention to look for them and found them in the sea. It seems like they're genuinely nameless generics. I found a brand name called "Kid Fun" that stuck them in a bag and put their name on it, but I'm not convinced they're relevant. One specific set of colors seems commonly referred to as "Rhode Island Novelty" unicorns. I'm contiuing to look, but so far I jsut see that a different site has listed them as being PVC and not rubber so I am a little confused.

It seems there's a red, a violet, and a rearing blue one that I don't have though, and they also happen to be the not included in this "Rhode Island" set as far as I can tell. I have NO IDEA about the golden one shown in that link.

Fakiespaceman is a great resource for MLP fakies. They really put in a lot of work to identify and categorize them all. The rubber unicorns bring to mind party favors or dollar store toys. I think the gold one they have may be a victim of the gold repaint trend a few years ago lol

I did notice that a number of them were called party favors, but I tried looking them up using that and they didn't show so I figured it wasn't worth mentioning. It looks like most of the places to buy them probably include random colors, so trying to get the ones I want might be a bit annoying.

One site was also advertising them as being good for fairy gardens which... I didn't know was a thing before this. I would agree except for the part where these figures fall over quite easily.

Found them on Amazon (and a few on ebay)! Looks like there's just the 4. But with a dozen you could paint them other colors lol

If you wanted to use them in a fairy garden you could maybe glue them to some rocks or glue toothpicks on the hooves as stakes

..................................................You......................... have a point. And since they've been readily available for so many years, I don't have to worry about scarcity. I could use them to practice painting figures and get familiar with the paints. Not that their official paints are consistent to begin with either - their paint jobs are all over the map haha. But I could try painting tiny little unicorn figures of my characters.

Ah............ and that idea makes me want to straight-up get a moon or two and recreate my avatar art.

This has definitely given me something interesting to think about! Thank you for that!

This is one of the places I found that has the other colors, although I'm not sure about the site's quality. Seems like some random backwater site, but at least the prices aren't extortionate.

Omg seeing those rubber unicorns just sent me down a nostalgic rabbit hole. I remember having those a million years ago, and I also have no idea where I got them from. XD It's good to see they still exist.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Hehehe
And actually through all of this I think I do kinda remember. Some adult just kinda had them and didn't want them, so when I showed an interest they let me have as many as I wanted, or something like that. I don't remember who or where though.
