Fellow Fanfic authors? Have you ever been asked to do unusual stories? Now I personally enjoy a good crackfic as much as anyone else and I have a lot of fun with unusual pairings and I'm so cool with taking requests. However someone recently requested a most unusual pairing and I can't do it. Not only am I unfamiliar with the universe incarnations this person specified, but I have no way to contact them because they signed as a guest. So I ended up leaving an announcement on my profile in case they come back and look to see if I've posted what they asked.

Anyone else ever have that? What were some of your more unusual story requests?

The last request I remember doing was a challenge fic that involved Temari, Killerbee and the prompt was Leap Frog. Lol that one really made me rack my brain.
 
Now I've picked myself of the floor.:D Thanks Slinky for the compliment but ...hmmm. LOL! I have to admit I'm not writing much at the second. I very rarely get requests mostly because I'm not big on volume and most people know I only write cannon. It's also generally known that I will ignore requests unless the idea really tickles me.

I do enjoy playing with challenges however and I often turn those on their head. Most people who write challenges usually have a certain type of fic in mind when they do and I tend to go the opposite way and run with it.

It's really nice that you enjoy doing fic requests though as people do love that.
 
I used to dabble in fanfiction, but I never received any requests outside of "next chapter please!"

Mostly, these days, I tend to write for roleplays over fanfics. I don't really have as much time to keep a story going, whereas a roleplay is more lenient with time. Come to think of it...the last fanfics I wrote were based around X:Men: Evolution and Teen Titans when they were both still airing new episodes...:confused: There are headcannon ideas I would love to bring to life for MLP, but I just know I wouldn't be able to finish the whole story.
 
@Leave a Whisper I have a piece of gold for you. So, I've only written one continuing story on fanfiction.net about a year or so ago. I had a person inbox me, asking if I took requests. I was like sure what did you have in mind and she sent my something very strange. Also, please keep in mind that the theme of my page what writings of ponies in a human world so this request as already not in all of my theme of writing. Here is the message copy and pasted:

"Like celestia and twilight where talking about the gems but when celestia was not looking twilight could not help but look at her wings and how prett. She look and celestianotice her looking at her she smiled and kisses her and twilight was shock but kisses back and they say they feel the same way and. Celestia takes twilight to her room and told the guards to go and when there alone they have sex.

Later when they wake they kiss and celestia gets up but she lift her tail to teas her and twilight went home.

Later celestia and twilight where in the castle kissing and twilight ask her if they can be married and she said yes.

They have a wedding and everyone cheerd for them and celestia makes a spell so twilight won't age like her and later celestia told twilight she wants a baby and celestia made a spell to her DNA into twilight stomach to make her pregnant and twilight smiled and they kiss.

Later twilight was in labor and give birth to a whit pony who looks like celestia and has wing. Horn and rainbow hair like celestia and they name her princess hope and they kiss end?:)"

Seriously?????? And I started joking with this individual. I asked her "Are you real life?" and she said "you don't like it?" I replied, "it seems like you have already written the story." LOL. I was in hysterics for at least two days over the thought of that request.
