Most of the the nirvana ponies have a bit of a different feel to their plastic, in my personal opinion. It seems like each country had their own blend of plastic.
Interesting! <3 makes sense. Ive only ever owned one until gifted my dutch pony, her plastic has a very subtle difference so i didnt pay it any attention since its so close to the usual. My firefly however is even a smaller mold and completely different. I love the differences!! :twohearts:

Colombians really are squishy! :) :twohearts:

Eeee!! I have an italian Firefly too! :ponylove: Mine is the curly haired version. Have you noticed any differences in vinyl? My italian firefly has completely different plastic I wondered if yours was to?

Mine's straight hair version. The body itself feels similar, but I notice the eyes are shoddily painted on and the hair has a choppy cut which seems to be the norm for italian ponies. My Italian Seashell also has a choppy hair.

Seashell has smaller symbols. Firefly's not glittered

Ohhh interesting :0 Mine also has sloppier eyes, but the hair is long and curled instead of choppy. Her Vinyl looks like a completely different plastic composition and dye suspension(? If thats the word) than regular fireflys, a smaller mold, and firmer. Also no glitter. Variants are so cooll!!! :happyhearts:

I think the same! I have some Italians, a NC Spanish and HK or China ponies. I think the Italians are a bit rubbery (with that typical smell), HK are soft, Chinese feel hard and smooth for me.

I love Heart Throb's first Italian variant. I know she's not much different besides her symbol and her hair being curly, but for some reason that makes all the difference for me. :ponylove:

We love heart throb! I love the Italian version symbol is shiny, but not glitter.

i really like argentinian shady for whatever reason. i think it's that dusty pink <3 i also like argentinian snuzzle. maybe because i'm greek?
EDIT: i forgot to mention italian posey v2! posey has a lot of good variants in general, but i love the dusty blue, especially after the hair has faded.

its fun to see rainbow pony versions of regular ponies, Brazilian bowtie and heart throb as well as Mexican firefly and medly spring to mind.

for some reason, in Brazil Gusty is one of the rainbow ponies despite the fact she uses her original design, I just find that rather odd300px-Arcoiris.JPG
