I gave a glow up to the spotty Firefly I posted about last week. I used a pink pearlescent powder to smooth her out a bit and it turned out really nice! I reapplied her lightening bolts which were completely gone, jazzed up her wings, reapplied blush, and basically repainted her eyes. I meant to just go over them because they were faded and a bit patchy but I didn't have a steady enough hand to just touch the up. The eye shines are I think the only original eye paint still visible. You can't really tell from the pics but I glossed her eyes and I really like how they turned out. I love original pony eyes, but the glossy effect is really nice on the shelf. I also threw a little holographic glitter into the two shades of blue I mixed for her symbol. That photographs less well, it just looks silver here, but I love the effect in person.

That is beautiful! She's my favorite and I might have to steal this look!!

oh Wow! I didn't even notice the repaint on the eyes until you mentioned it. She did turn out really nice. I have a G1 Glory and Medly that I want to do something similar too, in terms of a glow up. I want them to keep their identities, but I want add some glam; their manes and tails are in really good condition, but their cutie marks could use a little TLC and they have minor flaws here and there.
