After seeing me clean my pony collection, my mother asked me to clean her favorite doll from her childhood. It's a Furga doll that she received for her 10th Christmas! It's face and hands were horribly stained with mold (almost completely a weird dark green). It isn't completely gone, but she's pretty happy with how the doll's flesh looks now!
The problem is the eyelashes! One eye still looks pristine, but the other...well, doesn't. Does anyone here have any experience fixing doll eyelashes?
If possible, I'd rather not completely reroot the eyelashes. These are beddy-bye eyes that still work. The mold/rust hasn't affected them yet.
Here is a photo of the doll's face.
Sorry I didn't think to take any photos of before I started working on her.
I'll keep y'all posted with how the rest of her cleanup goes if you're interested.
