G3 For SCIENCE! How far can a G3 pull-back scooter travel?

Do you have a G3 scooter and pony on hand? Care to help me out with a little ~*~* SCIENCE ~*~* ?

If you wind up your scooter all the way, with a pony on board, and let it go on a flat surface, how far does it travel?

E sent ours on to Lynnix, but we got that little scooter to go over 20 ft. Easily.

I imagine it's a similar deal to those pull-back toy cars? I feel like someone must have data on how far those can go, but the size and shape is very different. For pony scooters we need to take that into consideration... Not to mention the variable of the loose pony inside causing some instability. Anyone here a Physics enthusiast?

Omg wait, they do this?! Ive had my Scooter Sprite and scooter literally since they came out and never knew they did thiss. I cant believe ive been missing out!!!

I just tested it with three of mine and I can’t get them to go very far at all sadly. Maybe the mechanisms are broken?

Edit: I’ve got the hang of it more now and they actually go way farther than I can measure, but some have a tendency to veer one way or the other (Breezie almost went down the stairs)

We did not have a pony in it most of the time.

I’m only getting the 20 ft measurement because it ran into the wall of a room that is almost 25’ by 15’.
