Hi everyone! I got a Blue Belle that appears to be a regular Hong Kong pony except her symbol is neon pink instead of the usual blue/purple. The pink is the same color as on "factory error" white Blue Belle but both her body and head are pale blue. Any ideas on what she might be worth or if there are others like her?

We'd need pictures to be accurate. Sometimes bluebelle fades strangely and it looks like a variant. So please, please, photos! We like all the interesting differences. Whether intentional or not.

I got a Blue Belle recently in a lot that sounds a lot like what you're describing. I thought to myself that this is very unusual. She's in really good condition.

It looks like there's some purple on small parts of the stars to me. I'd keep her though. Even if it's just some odd fading, she's pretty cool. :ponylove:

That purple you mentioned just looks like dirt to me. I'll have to dig up the one I got in the lot for a comparison pic.
Either way, she’s really cool. I’d pay more than just for an average bluebelle, or keep her if she was mine.

I really like the contrast of those bright stars. So pretty

oooh sweet pic = both of you two :)

I like how her stars faded to that pink and yep, I would pay more for sucha factory-goof oddball

I'm thinking in the 25-50ish range. I missed out on a $30 yellow apple AJ (similar paint mark fade process) and I know I thought that was a reasonable price

I like that "defect" that is known to happen to bluebelle occasionally

have fun cleaning her up and getting her glam pics - if you are selling, I am interested in buying :)

all the best

have to update on price as supposedly common/uncommon reverse print Dancing Butterflies went for $150 ... so - IMO if you like her keep her and if not see if you can get waaaay over my quote for her :)

IMHO I think some people waaaaay over price some ponies. If DB was an auction, that's different, but I'd think Blue Belle may be a little more common than DB's reverse print. I'd think your original quote would be more in the ballpark for Blue Belle.

Jumping in this super late, but was Googling for some information on Blue Bell that has the white on her to see if it was always just her head that was white, or if it could be just her body with her head being normal, or if it could be a mixture. And this came up since someone mentioned her.

From what I understand, the reverse colors on dancing butterfly is not a factory error and a rather large number were made on purpose and sold that way specifically. There are of course a lot less of that version than the regular version, but all the same from everything I saw in reference to that, it's just an alternate version of the original.
