G1 Windy. Different colours

Hi again!
Another colour question here and a piccie to show you my new find! Well not new, just found again.
My mum found some more of my old ponies when she was cleaning the loft space and sent these to me. Yey, I got my old girls back!
Both are Windy unicorn but again I have two of the same pony but different colours!
One is off white with blue glitter (where the glitter is slightly rubbed you can see the solid symbol underneath and it is bright blue). She has rainbow hair as usual and with perfect clear blush cheeks. HK '83.
My other is a greyish lilac with perfect purple glitter. No blush cheek (not from fading, she is perfect condition) HK '83
The pics here do not do justice to the colour difference.....

Windy colours, left white pony blue glitter, right lilac with purple glitter. I can't get a pic that shows up the colours as clear as I see it!

while there is still some debate about a "white windy" as you described, the coloring of the regular release is very prone to fading = the purple/lilac body to white and the purple glitter to blue-ish... have you checked the inside of your paler version?

Maycrestmom. Eeek! No I haven't looked inside, I can't bring myself to do that!
If I was to take a peak inside, what tell tell signs am I looking for?
Her hair, eyes and blush are perfect, so is it the type of material they made the body from prone to sun fading in this colour of pony and so the rest looks totally unaffected by fade?
Oh well, she is still special to me, they both are!
