Your paintwork looks so good!As promised, here’s a first look! This was 3D printed by me, using the must up to date digital prototype STL! We’re getting really close to perfect now - as said this is version 5 of the digital sculpt as I’ve been very thorough with the company, stuff like making sure the tail hole is correctly placed to the MM, the polygon count is high enough etc
So I think the main sculpt is finally perfect! The actual head, details, shapes look SO good
This is hand painted and I don’t have very good brushes, obviously factory printed eyes will look a million times better. Similarly the weirdness around the nose is from the printer.
The rooting holes were a little too close together and the head split when I was rooting, which is why I only did a little then stopped (I had to glue her back together lol). The fact this is 3D printed in rubber resin and is quite thin definitely contributed to this - the real ones will be cast in PVC which is more durable but I think for safety the rooting holes need to be larger and further apart. The holes for the eye gems need to be a little deeper too.
Other than that we‘re really close to greenlighting production I think!View attachment 81680
Wow she looks great, you must be very proud to have gotten the project to this point where you’re able to hold and put hair in
