So, one of the two Toys R Us stores near my house is closing...so I decided to go on my first buying spree ever. It was AMAZING.
I got 14 ponies for $36.65. All MIB.
Most of the ponies were $3.99 (Beachberry, Bowtie, Cloudclimber AND Desert Palm combo pack). I also found Star Shimmer for the same price - STAR SHIMMER! I got the last one - I was in shock.
Let's see...the 4-pack with Finger Paints was $12, Starbeam was $2.78...but...the best deals?
Peri Winkle and Garden Fun Starswirl for THIRTY-EIGHT CENTS EACH! And Eveningwear Sunny Daze for $1.18. Whoa. For that price, I think I might have to go back for more.
Now, my friends, I never usually splurge like this...but oh my goodness...it felt AMAZING. I felt triumphant walking to the register with a basket overflowing with ponies! I must have looked ridiculous, though...
Before this I only had 2 G3's. Now I have a lot more. Of course, mom won't let them in the house 'til my room's clean
But...happy early birthday to me nonetheless!! (My birthday's the 27th, FYI)
Anyone else have anything good come out of the Toys R Us liquidation? I'm thinking of going back for the godzilla ponies (RD and Pinkie - they don't have Rarity
) once the prices go down a bit more...
