hello!!
before I start, this is my first post and at if any point I've messed something up (wrong category/or a post already exists on this topic, etc) please let me know

anyways, I bought this pony light with much excitement for a total of 25 with shipping

but unfortunately, I failed to realize Lemony Gem was heavily drawn on because of the description stating "All very good condition" haha
I've been considering opening a claim with paypal but honestly it doesn't matter that much to me. Now though, I have to try and clean the ink off from her and also a Trixie brushable.
I've been using hand sanitizer to get off the surface ink and this is my progress so far..

I'm struggling to get anymore ink to lift out of the yellow plastic. Suggestions? Is it possible to get anything else out?

Thank you and have an sweet day <3

Personally I would try acetone next (just don't let it touch the paint or it will take it off!) then dawn dish soap and a magic eraser. If there is any left after that you'll probably need to sun fade. I would go to the mlp preservation project for more details

Okay thank you so much! I forgot to mention but I had used acetone on the ears
I'll try the dishsoap and magic eraser next :lolpony:

Looks like the marker/pen has already seeped into the vinyl of the pony. Unfortunately it’s past the point that traditional cleaning efforts would have worked and you’ll have to use a technique called sunfading.

Our FAQ and tutorial sections have great tips and tricks for cleaning and removing stains like these. :)

Ah okay!! I think I'm gonna try the magic eraser still just to get the surface dirt out of her horn and I'll try sunfading next. It hasn't been too sunny in Michigan but I'll try that once it starts to get there. :satisfied:

Wishing you luck.

Sun fading for sure at this point. Hope it’s sunny by you or you could make a light box for her. :orangeheart: :butters:

What's a light box? I've vaguely heard of the suggestions given before but I'm not sure what this is :CJ:

Its a closed in box with UV lights/LEDs so you can mimic the sun if you live in a cloudy area. Some popel line them with tin foil as well to help increase the intensity of the lights. :orangeheart: :butters:
