I was going to make make Photo Finish into my ponysona, then, on a whim, I made her into Trixie! The hair is a dye job, and the streaks came out cleanly separated all the way into the roots! >phew< Good to note: Damaged, frizzy hair won't take dye, so straighten it first (had to hit the tail twice). The eyes are a lighter, less red shade than the non-custom Trixie's, the horn is a good color match (not perfect), and I love the liberties I took on the symbol.
Only thing I don't like is that the horn doesn't flow directly from the forehead, glueing onto a sloped surface is hard to make airtight. But the superglue is super secure. Looks simple, but it took me about five days, and I learned and gained more confidence with every step. I just painted a new symbol on a whim, and couldn't believe I got it.
I'm so glad that I have a Fashion Style Trixie, wonder why Hasbro didn't make one? Well, they made her best friend, which is why I included a photo of them together.
