G5 G5 Chatter

Zipp looks much better with proper hair, but cripes those tails are thin! Why can't we just stick with that silky, thick, luscious hair period? Buncha cheapskates. I hope they can be easily re-tailed. I'll pick up the pack for her.

I also hope I can swap heads with the crystal one, so she can have hair, and her pretty, colorful,detailed wings.

Poor Trailblazer can't have nothing. He can't have hair. He can't have a cute unicorn headband. He can't have his sweet little socks and stripe.

The little cheapies, would make good custom baits perhaps.

Every time I see 'Moonbow' I'll always remember the book "The Night of the Moonbow" that I read as a kid...weird choice at the time... (now I want to reread it again...) Probably no one else here has ever read it xD

I'm so confused with the direction they went with Alphabittle...

Later on in the series this got inconsistent. When another villain drained Equestria of its magic (in a completely different way) it only took away unicorn magic and magic from artifacts and monsters and such. Pegasi could still fly and Earth Ponies weren’t weak. And they all still had their cutie-marks…
So yeah anyway in this universe ALL ponies are just magic. Don’t question it. These are pastel horses with tattoos on their butts. Needing magic to fly doesn’t seem like a stretch. Random fun fact that just came to me, the Tinker Bell movies did a similar concept too! In those movies they actually need to regularly farm pixie dust and sprinkle it on themselves to be able to fly, even though they all have wings. And despite this they STILL need the wings to fly because if one of their wings is broken they can’t fly anymore. Sorry for the rambling I got excited.

Anyways, if I can get a spare Izzy I wanna see if I can customize her hair to have the gradient hair.

EDIT: MyLittlePony.com (redirects to Mylittlepony.hasbro.com) has gotten a complete overhaul! Short character descriptions of each new pony (including hobbies), not-yet-seen toys, coloring pages of the new ponies, etc. You have to click on a separate link to go back to G4 characters, but the main site is G5. There’s also a separate link for Pony Life, Equestria Girls, and G1 although like the old site the G1 portion is kinda bad, it’s really just the Mane 6 G1-ized with a mention of their G1 inspirations).

To me the real test for MLP coming back towards normal again, will be lots of different pony characters with proper hair, and at least most of them easy enough to get. If they can't be bothered to do that, I'll just get the few I've got my eye on, and be done with this gen. I'll probably do that anyway, because those heads still bug the crap outta me. But I'm gonna give this gen a try.

I refuse to pick up the blind bags at all, if they're gonna be that, instead of their own shape unique to this generation. I thoroughly despise Pony Life's ugliness.

Our amazing Skybreeze, what would we do without her! We'd be a bunch of unorganized, cluttering heathens LOL The G5 thread does look great and it's nice having it all categorized in one place, keeps the board nice and clean :)

Sky might be a little scarce this weekend so be patient for updates and just remember to message her if ya find something and she'll add it all nice and tidy like ;)
 
I might be warming up to the toys a bit.
I quite like the Izzy and Pipps figures with moulded hair a bit in the playsets

The Izzy with the unicorn charms actually looks better than she did before with me with her hair down

Of course, I would have to see them in person to see what I think

I think I saw something on MLP Merch about size comparisons? Pretty cool these are appearing in stores already. Watch my area be really late for getting these

Wow really?? I've been scouring stores recently for ANY pony stuff (g4, g4.5, or I guess g5 now!) and can't find anything. I can't even find the Pony Life stuff I want. Hopefully shelves near me will fill up soon!
 
Found Moonbow, and let me tell you girls, her hair is so thick and silky. Her head is on a ball joint. The head is slightly squishy, but the body is harder plastic. I'm not getting her today, just wanted to show you.

The render of Izzy on the box looks like a finished/tweaked version of a vector we’ve been seeing around a lot too, that’s cool. I like that they’re doing the ball joint like in Pony Life too. More posability!
Er, anyways, is there a way to find out if a Walmart has any ponies before going? All the Walmarts in my area are kind of far away from me and I don’t want to go all the way there only to find nothing.

I'm pretty sure there's an app that tells you what stores have stuff in stock. I can't remember the name exactly. It's something like store seek, or brick check. Think brain, think!

Her hair looked so soft in the stock images and I'm so happy it actually feels how it looks!
