I’ve seen Fuzzkins in a craft shop before, all different animals. I probably would’ve liked it as a kid and they come with pens for kids to decorate them and wash off, strange because we know how flocked toys be? But I think the pens are washable stuff or a different kind of flocking.
The animals remind me of Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters

That’s what it is, it’s from a digital package that was shared with investors at the beginning on G5. I’d love to see more characters added to this roster, like Opaline and Misty.

I love flocked toys! These might be the first G5 ponies I add to my collection...

Thanks to a sharp-eyed Pony Peep, Amazon UK has Opaline up. It seems that she's both a bright, nail-polish pink, and a lovely, plum purple? I'm confused. Is this a color changing gimmick?

Mine arrives monday!! I will also weigh in on how she looks! :3 I assumed the darker color was the prototype pictures since there's usually differences between the two. We shall see! Ive been waiting a month im so hyped for her to finally arrive!!

Alrighty!! @Leave a Whisper and @Skybreeze my Opaline has arrived!! the verdict on her color, shes neither super bright or super dark. My camera made her look bright when i used the flash for close up hoof shots so im guessing that stock image of the product just had a loooot of lighting making her appear that bright in a picture. Shes no where near that bright. Youll see in these pics haha.

Firstly, She comes in closed packaging! I was surprised! She slides out in a tray with a paper baggy containing her wings and accessories.


Her hair is very lightly gelled, its not bad at all i like it! Just enough to keep the curls! Her hair is also pretty long the curls are just tight curls, but again not hard, theyre flexible and bouncy. She comes with two right bracelets and two left bracelets like shes supposed to, no mess ups there. She is also hollow since she is posable but she feels nice. You snap her wings in. She also has a comb and her velcro charms to attach to her wings.

Soo, she's actually an in-between color that seems difficult to capture on camera. Much like G3 Applejack for example. Thank you very much for the photos strawberry.

Youre welcome!! Im so excited about her hoovess!!! Fhrure Theyre the prettiest hooves!! Also i forgot to mention, her tail hair feels really nice, i always worry bc sometimes tail hair is bad quality versus the mane.

Those hooves…! Those are amazing. They really put effort into her, huh? And the hair being gelled I wasn’t sure about but you say it’s nice so I’ll take it. The hair being accurate is pretty cool

She is a pretty cool one so maybe, if I ever see her but it always depends on pricing and space. Since I have not much pony space I wonder how well she’ll translate into a smaller pony? But she is done very well!

That sounds like a pretty good description. Hopefully they’ve learnt from their Magic of Everypony set

that's good to hear! i'm hoping this extends to other releases this year (notably jazz & wing surprise zipp) because the tails on the other ponies this size are really not great.

me too. i don't have any of the magic of everypony figures, but i really wasn't a fan of the other g4s that had the hair glue. shadowbolt rainbow dash was particularly awful

I’m not a fan of that stuff either and it takes forever to get it out. If this new stuff is really that thin that it could easily be brushable then I wonder how much they’ll use when it comes to making Misty, if any at all?

It's been what? Nearly 2 years since G5 debuted and how many new characters have we got that aren't side toylines? 3. That's it. Sprout, Jazz, and Opaline. That's pretty slim pickings, so I wouldn't hold my breath on Thunder, Posey, or Misty.
