Hopefully she won't be too hard to find when she comes around.

Credit where credit is due, I suppose. Hasbro wasn't lying when they said they were going eco-friendly. :lolpony: I didn't even realize it was supposed to be a playset until Glistening pointed it out.
Me neither! <high five>

Wow, gee haha, shout out to anyone else who did notice!
I actually noticed it because Peaches made that comment under the image about it looking like everyone is judging Hitch lol. It really does, but it got me to look more closely at the image.

I personally dont mind the cardboard set! It seems like a fun way to use packaging and as a kid I would have liked the craft aspect. I really like the more eco friendly aspect too, since even if we like to collect things, it probably is better for us in the long run to have less plastic. I think this set is probably meant to be more about the toys rather than the playset background anyway. :)
I used to get theses dolls called Betty Spaghetty and some of the characters got closet playsets where the box they came in was the closet. It was a cardboard box with cardboard dividers, a little piece of Velcro on the door to keep it closed and a small plastic bar inside to hang the clothes on. I always thought it was pretty cool that the whole box became useful rather than just getting thrown away and they held up pretty well too :) I honestly think I still have one somewhere. So I’m ok with boxes being part of playsets too

AHH!! I LOVe Betty Spaghetty!! I totally agree! I loved those kinds of boxes so I dont mind the pony playset box being usable.

Nice :) I didn’t know if anyone else knew about the dolls! I got the slumber party set for Christmas one year and loved them ever since :lolpony:

Honestly I didn't even realize the box doubled as the playset! I honestly love it. It makes me feel slightly less guilty about investing in so much plastic. If it's anything like the smaller set boxes that have come out of G5 so far, it's bound to be a lot more durable than it looks, too. I splurged this paycheck to preorder Suzuki Tsudumi as part of my other major hobby, lest I'd test that theory out myself... next paycheck then! (Even if the set's not as good as I'm hoping, hey, I love the figures.)

Icey? Stormy? I feel like I'm looking at a combined version of the Trix, but to be fair Stormy's like the best so... I hope this villain doesn't disappoint.

Interesting what the villains' excitement suggests, though. I know some fans have theorized that the ponies had to separate to avoid some greater evil. Holes have been poked in that theory, if they're going that way I wonder what they'll do with it.

Also OKAY, HELLO, I'm here for getting some historical lore explanation! And Twilight actually looks surprisingly good in that style.

I absolute ADORE her Sparkling Generations toy, so I’m pleased to see she transitions well in animation too! I can’t wait to see her again!

I'm more excited for Sugar Moonlight. Wish Hasbro would make a toy of her, and make up their mind if she's white or purple.
