It's that time of the year again where I start picking out gifts for our annual Christmas party's Dirty Santa gift exchange. I'm trying to find something that would be funny for everyone while still being appropriate for the kiddos who will be there. I have a few things that I'm considering such as funny games and weird books. What sorta gag gifts do you guys buy for your friends and families, and what gag gifts have you received?

What about those lollipops with crickets and ants and such in them? The toilet seat actually sounds fantastic @Sassarazzmadazzles  You could always get them a single pen or pencil wrapped in a giant bow or buried within fifteen different boxes of decreasing size. I find the juxtaposition of tiny gifts in oversized packages with oversized bows comedy gold, personally!

My favorite that I ever received was a package of “pre-blessed” popcorn that came with a free ticket to Heaven. I left the church I grew up in long ago, but remembering that still makes me smile! I’ve always loved absurd gifts.

I’ve never really given or gotten any gag gifts, my mom does sometimes like to gift my dad troll dolls as a joke though :)
(at one point a lot of years ago he bought tons like people bought beanie babies cause he thought he’d be able to get rich selling them lol)

My amazing pony friend of 20 years, @roserebellion, and I always lamented that as kids we weren't allowed to buy the little capsule items you usually see in grocery stores by the exit, that usually cost about 25c.

So for many years now, we've include several of them in our gift boxes to each other to make up for it ;) Totally random and mostly useless items, but we both get a kick out of it.

That’s so sweet!

(does anyone else remember the little electric pony rides that used to be at supermarket entrances?)

Can't go wrong with a classic rubber chicken or the can of nuts that snakes pop out of!

not only do I remember but I also remember when a MLP one went up on eBay probably 15-ish years ago *lamenting sigh*

I'm always in awe of SniffingPlasticPonies pony room with the working pony ride in it.

@starscout Adding some more white elephant gifts idea, those novelty kitchen gadgets are always fun! I actually put together a ginger bread house kit this year for our exchange. It's got house shaped cookie cutters and gingerbread man theme spatula/towel/oven mitt/etc. I think last year someone did a waffle kit with one of those mini waffle makers and a bottle dispenser.

Also, I really recommend hitting up a TJMAXX. They always have a huge display or two of novelty games and other "stocking stuffers" like the desktop zen gardens, the tiny inflatable tube man, and whatnot.
