Ghost Light - Halloween custom #13

Finally got around to counting this years batch of Halloween customs and came up with 13 (definitely not planned that way but somewhat fitting). Way to many customs sitting around starring at me at the moment, and I think I'm pretty much out of ideas and motivation at this point. Now I'd better get busy trying to figure out how to sew a unicorn costume for my daughter and work on enhancing my costume a bit for this year. :D

Anyway, here's Ghost Light (my favorite one for this year). Eyes and body are original colors (although I'm wondering if some eye makeup and maybe a little cheek symbol might be nice finishing touches here? Any thoughts?). Hair is restoredoll CM Midnight (black) with a streak of dark purple. Symbol is handpainted haunted house backlit by a large white moon with tiny little bats flying across it. Some of the smaller details include gravestones up front of the house as well as two trees - one with a tiny little hangman's noose hanging from one branch. Symbol is done in white, black, and shades of purple. I named her Ghost Light because I liked the sound of the name and because of the whitish lights in the windows/door of the haunted house. I've got to fool with my camera and try some different lighting to see if I can pick up some of the smaller details but for now here she is. Comments, etc. always appreciated.

I love her colors :) And I like the way you've turned the head (right??) If not...well still you picked a good pony pose!

QuestorStar - yup, her head is turned a bit from it's original forward facing position. Not entirely planned (after an hour or so on the symbol I put her head back on and realized that I had painted that symbol on the wrong side :roll: ). Luckily the head fit fine (without weried overlap, etc.) in this position.

Wow! Her symbol is amazing! Hmm.. I think maybe a cheek symbol might make him/her a bit cutsie, i think maybe better without, although a little eye makeup may be good.

Just as is looks stunning anyhow!!

that is one amazing pony. do you have a close up of her symbol? it looks like you put a lot of time on that symbol, it looks great.

I need to take her outside and try for a close up on the symbol since it's a lot more detailed them what you can see in these pics. Maybe if there's still some sunlight after I get the kids to bed I'll give it a try. :D

Hmmm, not sure if this is the best pic light wise but here's a close up of her symbol. It's still a little hard to see the tiny tombstones in the yard and the noose on the right hand side tree but they are pretty tiny to begin with. Ah well. I gave her a bit of silver eye makeup but wasn't happy with any of the check/forehead symbols I tried since they were a bit much so she's done with only minor alterations. Still haven't decided if she'll be for sale those for those who were interested. :D
