How do I leave feedback? This is my first swap and I’ve only ever done feedback on the arena.

Ok, I think I got everyone's feedback. Let me know if I missed you!

Was pretty stressed last week, but I think the 3-day weekend really helped. (Why don't we have those all the time again?) I gotta go grocery shopping soon so I'll have to figure out which recipes to try first :tongue:

That looks so good!

@Gingerbread
That’s awesome! I’m glad you two liked them, and I think that’s neat you’re working through all the recipes. My wife was excited to get them from the swap, but we haven’t cooked much lately with her new job and all.

yummy!!!! Loving this one I'm keeping my eyes out for another yummy swap hehe

Whoops! Did @MaddieHatter 's Hawaiian Tacos awhile ago and forgot to share. Had to tweak the recipe for one lb of meat since there was just my sister and I (and even then we still had a lot of leftovers lol). I ate spinach, shredded cheese, and a dollop of sour cream with mine. Definitely one I'm adding to the rotation!

Aldi's has been out of a lot of things lately so I'm going to have to venture out to other stores for the rest of recipes. :|

Has anyone tried mine yet? I know grits aren't normally that appetizing but we never come back with leftover cheese grits. I swear some of my relatives would lick the casserole dish if they could. :lolpony:

I’m so glad you both liked it and the additions sound good!

we haven’t had a chance to try out the recipes yet. My wife is the main cook in the family and I joined because I knew she would love new recipes to try in our meals. Unfortunately her work has had her sound like 60 hour weeks. I’ve been left to my own devices the last several weeks. :unsure:

I actually love cheesy grits, and your recipe is similar to the one I usually make only I never thought to put chilies or garlic in mine. Just the butter, eggs and Velveeta, little salt and pepper. I am actually planning to try the grits, one of Sass's soups and the potato chip candy sometime this month.
I do my menu/grocery shopping monthly so it takes me a while to rotate new stuff in.

The green chilis and garlic are the real chef's kiss to the cheese grits. (I'm hungry just thinking about it lol.)

I usually go every 2-3 weeks and since the pandemic I've tried to limit my trips to one store. I love Aldi's but they are limited in what the have, especially now with the shipping issues :/

*Editing since this hasn't dropped off the 1st page yet lol

We tried @OctoberMoon 's Surprise Candy! I was telling mom and grandma about it and my mom said she'd made it before with pecans and my grandma insisted it was peanuts. So we split the recipe and tried both! After tasting consensus was still pretty split lol. Personally I liked the peanuts. P:
