I know I said I was burnt out-then I realized I wanted to go swimming and I couldn't...so I made a new, aquatic Luminary! I tried to follow all the rules of a "Date Night" pony that I see from the concept art.
1. One solid hair color.
2. Symbol is two things or a pair plus one other thing and represents romance.
3. Symbol is one color contrasting the body and matches the eyes.
4. No forelock and a six-inch mane, like the Glow 'n Show, Rock 'n Beats, Flower Fantasy, and other later ponies in traditional molds.

I really wanted to try Cherry Jubilee's shade of orange. But it's so salmon I had to make sure nothing else on the pony would "out orange" it, or else it would look like a shade of pink. Actually, under the flash his hair turned pink  that's the third pic. Those are jellyfish, but several people thought they were Hopi rain clouds. Whatever, as long as it glows and lets Luminary join Bubbles, Sprinkles, and the Sunshine and Tropical ponies for a swim!

I also wanted to use the peachy orange color we collectors call "coral"- that color that is the first stripe in the second edition rainbows- used even less often than the above color. I used it on a Sweetheart Sister mold, but his goatee is drying, and I will post him later since "Fashion Dandy" or "Romance Boy" Luminary is nearly done. I wanted to post them together, but I just couldn't wait anymore, lol.

Now, Here is something crazy. There is an HQG1C pegasus that glows white instead of green. I had some pink hair that glows green. mixed it with "fading pink" to improve the texture...and now the fading pink hair reflects the green glow and turns orange! This pony glows white, green and a beautiful coral shade of orange!

It's an early reroot to keep track of the hair. glad I got it out of the way, I don't plan on making a Luminary out of it. The mix is good so the hair glows, but it can be combed without getting damaged.
I'm really happy with them! Thanks for looking :ponylove:
