Hi everyone! It's almost Halloween! I'm having a fun day all dressed up at work with some friends. Just wanted to see if anyone else is dressing up for Halloween. I'm Jack Skellington this year! No face paint or anything, just a union suit pullover. It's my favorite time of year and I can't wait to shoot candy down my steps to kids tomorrow night!! :zombie:

I love steampunk. I did that a few years ago too
Steampunk is one of my favorite aesthetics, so of course I just had to dress up as it one year. Getting the costume was a little stressful, Party City ran out of the kid/teenager one I wanted last minute so I ended up getting one of the last adult Steampunk costumes they had. I liked the design of the other one better but the one I ended up getting was nice too. Like, surprisingly nice for a store-bought costume.
Maybe I’ll post a picture of me in my costume here (with my face blurred out, of course)!

How are you shooting candy to kids? And I’m gonna be a pumpkin witch tomorrow :Glowpump:

I made a cardboard contraption so I can slide candy down it and into their bags. I hope it works!! A pumpkin witch sounds awesome!

Oh ok! I was picturing you putting candy in a nerf gun or something and just shooting it at them lol XD
Thanks! I made an orange witch hat and bubble skirt and I have a green sweater to be the stem

Okay can someone actually do this? Fill a Nerf gun up with candy and shoot it into kids’ bags (along as it wouldn’t hit the kid)?

The only trick or treating we have is those who are willing to set out a self serve bowl. Plus there are many drive through trunk or treats.

I typically get between 200-300 kids on a nice Halloween so I expect around 150 this year. My neighborhood is in a small town and set up really easy to do door to door trick or treating. I love it!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween isn’t really celebrated where I live but I enjoy seeing the costumes and the decorations in the shops is interesting.
It is kind of rare around here to see a decorated properly house in my area, I think there’s only one that goes all out with it which people sometimes go to just to see it. The shops do sell some themed sweets though which can last all year round sometimes.
There aren’t really any trick-or-treaters either so I don’t see many spooks out and about.

When I see it on the television, they have somehow found streets that really go all the way with Halloween so I get to see the creepy festivities in some way at least

Have a safe but spooky Halloween, everybody! :batfly:

We never get trick or treaters out where I live, and no one at my house is going to dress up as we're not going anywhere to make it worth the time, so we might watch a movie or something.

That's how it was for me growing up. My parents ended up just buying us candy and letting us watch scary movies all night.

People here get very into trick or treating. The hoses are decorated and they give out full size candy bars, but vivid cases and deaths have been steadily rising the last two months, so most are just doing drive through.

Woah! That’s a lot, at my house we get maybe 3-6 groups come and that’s about it so I’m not expecting many this year. More candy for me lol :winkpony:

Happy Halloween everyone
