I just created an account on the Arena as well with the same username. I was worried about keeping up with both as well. I do like the layout of MLPTP though.
 
I only go over to the arena to check up on the MLP fair (discussions of it there are more active, in general) and to check up on new ponies coming out. Otherwise, I like it here better (and only really have time-barely-to take part in one forum). MLPTP is easier to navigate (imho), too, plus nice the notification system, and less frenetic pace of posts flying by. It's just cozier here! :)

I'm here for the first time in about a month, I guess..? Hehe.. Anyways, I like the Arena layout better, but that's just mho. :)

I like the notification system here, a lot.. :)
 
I find the MLP arena hard to navigate, I have mental health problems so need things in a particular way for me to be able to understand/use them and unfortunately the arena doesn't suit

I like certain aspects of the TP and I like certain aspects of the Arena.. Just wish I had more energy to keep up with both! :)
