For some reason, my figure had two SUPER long bunches of hairs. Is this normal??? Or, is it a sign that the hair has been replaced or tampered with??? The tail does not have this problem.
Thats super surprising!!! When I first got her, she was in near perfect condition!!!
Im super new to owning and collecting figures, so, is this something I should worry about? Should I trim it, replace the hair all together, or do you think its okay to just leave it be???
I do plain on braiding her hair in the future, although, now I dont want to pull these hairs out all together. Think its a bad idea?
No need to worry. It’s a pretty common thing with any toy that has rooted hair. Over time some hairs or plugs can get loose and become longer than the other plugs. It’s really up to you. You can certainly cut it to match the length or leave it as is. Also you can style as you like, just be gentle with the hair but you’ll likely get some hair to come out when brushing. Just like people.
Most of the tails I’ve seen are just folded in half and held by a clip of some sort. There’s a good chance that there are some equally short ones that you could pull gently to make them even again.
I've been a g3 collecter since it came out and I've noticed this happening to the some poses but others do not get this problem usually like what sky Breeze said over time hair gets loose over brushing or playing or maybe the quality of the manufacturing when I do see it I don't really worry about it because I usually curl my ponies hair it's not that noticeable once it's a styled this is the second version of cotton candy which was sold in a pack with 4 other ponies in 2005
